As reported in an article from
Business Insider, Glamour magazine has posted an impressive increase in advertising sales for their print edition. Why? Because whoever buys a print ad will also get a reproduction in their forthcoming
iPad App.
Posh publishers Condé Nast have stated that Glamour's ad pages are up a whopping 57% for this month compared to last year. The title's forthcoming September issue will be the largest in the magazines twenty year history.
"Here’s an example of how digital and print can work together." says Glamour Editor-in-Chief Cindi Leive. Not shit.
Vanity Fair has also posted a more subtle 7% rise in adverts and Vogue is are set to release their ad numbers any minute…now…
…yep. Vogue has risen 24% also.
Now lets sit back and watch all the other publishers scratch their heads and groan a collective "maybe we should look at digital magazines again…"
